Schlittler has been in existence for almost 100 years, enchanting people all over the world with extraordinary decorative items and wickerwork. We’d like to take you on a journey through our long history, steeped in tradition, as a deeply rooted Swiss company.

1923	Foundation of the company family business Manufacture of steel shavings and steel wool
1936	Manufacture of copper cloths
1952	Manufacture of decorative ribbons
1956	First wickerwork imports
1963	New warehouse building for wickerwork
1983	Expansion of our range Trade commences in decorative items and floristry supplies, over 800 items in our range
1991	Construction of new premises Over 1,000 m2 showroom and commissioning warehouse
1996	ISO certification 9001:2015 Schlittler is the first company in our industry to receive certification
2001	Expansion of storage capacity by 16,000 m2 Direct rail connection
2003	Hand-held devices for sales transactions
2004	Establishment of our own production facilities for lifestyle items
2012	Certification FSC® STD-40-004 (V3-0)
2019	Change of ownership
2021	Move into completely rebuilt headquarters
